It's time for seniors to rise up. We are a majority.

Entitlement my ass, I paid cash for my social security insurance and never questioned what I was asked to contribute!!!! Just because "they" borrowed the money, doesn't make my benefits some kind of charity or handout!! THAT IS UP TO ME TO DECIDE. Congressional benefits, aka. free health care, outrageous retirement packages, 67 paid holidays, three weeks paid vacation, unlimited paid sick days, now that's welfare, and they have the nerve to call my retirement entitlements!!!!!!.....scroll down...............

What the HELL's wrong???

WAKE UP AMERICA !!!!

Tuesday's Daily Bulletin paper, ran two articles on the front page side by side:

1- Calif 's 20 Billion Dollar Budget Deficit

2- The Calif Supreme Court ruling that ILLEGALS can attend college and get benefits.

Why don't they just deport them when they arrive to register?

3- Last year they ran an article on the yearly costs to Calif Taxpayers from Illegals using Hospital Emergency Rooms for their general health care -

At just one hospital the cost to tax payers totaled over 25 million a year

Someone please tell me what the HELL's wrong with all the people that run this country!!!!!!

We're "broke" & can't help our own Seniors, Veterans, Orphans, Homeless etc.???????????

In the last months we have provided aid to Haiti , Chile and Turkey . And now Pakistan .....home of bin Laden. Literally, BILLIONS of DOLLARS!!!

Our retired seniors living on a 'fixed income' receive no aid nor do they get any breaks while our government and religious organizations pour Hundreds of Billions of $$$$$$'s and Tons of Food to Foreign Countries!

They call Social Security and Medicare an entitlement even though most of us have been paying for it all our working lives and now when its time for us to collect, the government is running out of money. Why did the government borrow from it in the first place?

We have hundreds of adoptable children who are shoved aside to make room for the adoption of foreign orphans.

AMERICA: a country where we have homeless without shelter, children going to bed hungry, elderly going without 'needed' meds, and mentally ill without treatment -etc,etc.

YET.....................

They have a 'Benefit' for the people of Haiti on 12 TV stations, ships and planes lining up with food, water, tents clothes, bedding, doctors and medical supplies.

Imagine if the *GOVERNMENT* gave 'US' the same support they give to other countries.

Sad isn't it?

"Destiny"

I lie awake

I've gone to ground

I'm watching porn

In my hotel dressing gown

Now I dream of you

But I still believe

There's only enough for one in this

Lonely hotel suite

The journey's long

And it feels so bad

I'm thinking back to the last day we had.

Old moon fades into the new

Soon I know I'll be back with you

I'm nearly with you

I'm nearly with you

When I'm weak I draw strength from you

And when you're lost I know how to change your mood

And when I'm down you breathe life over me

Even though we're miles apart we are each other's destiny

On a clear day

I'll fly home to you

I'm bending time getting back to you

Old moon fades into the new

Soon I know I'll be back with you

I'm nearly with you

I'm nearly with you

When I'm weak I draw strength from you

And when you're lost I know how to change your mood

And when I'm down you breathe life over me

Even though we're miles apart we are each other's destiny

When I'm weak I draw strength from you

And when you're lost I know how to change your mood

And when I'm down you breathe life over me

Even though we're miles apart we are each other's destiny

I'll fly, I'll fly home

I'll fly home and I'll fly home

Dub is a genre of music which grew out of reggae music in the 1960s, and is commonly considered a subgenre, though it has developed to extend beyond the scope of reggae. Music in this genre consists predominantly of instrumental remixes of existing recordings and is achieved by significantly manipulating and reshaping the recordings, usually by removing the vocals from an existing music piece, emphasizing the drum and bass parts (this stripped down track is sometimes referred to as a 'riddim'). Other techniques include dynamically adding extensive echo, reverb, panoramic delay, techno beats and occasional dubbing of vocal or instrumental snippets from the original version or other works. Dub also sometimes features electronically generated sound effects, or the use of distinctive instruments such as the melodica by artists such as Augustus Pablo. Dub was pioneered by Osbourne "King Tubby" Ruddock, Lee "Scratch" Perry, Errol Thompson and others in the late 1960s. Similar experiments with recordings at the mixing desk outside of the dancehall environment were also done by producers Clive Chin and Herman Chin Loy. These producers, especially Ruddock and Perry, looked upon the mixing desk as an instrument, manipulating tracks to come up with something new and different. Dub has influenced many genres of music, including rock (most significantly the sub-genre of post-punk and other kinds of punk), pop, hip hop, disco, and, later, house, techno, ambient, and trip hop. Dub has become a basis for the genres of jungle/drum'n'bass and dubstep.

WOW! It's been three years since I last posted. Way too much has happened and not in a good way. I lost my job at IBM. Seems if you actually possess a brain and (gawd forbid) use it on the job, it's a one way ticket to the street. Idiots seldom (if ever) care to be enlightened. Well, at least now I can say what I want about how they treat workers. I worked on their 300mm production line as a tech. It was akin to...did you ever see the film Marathon Man? An evil, old Nazi performed a bit of dental hijinks on Dustin Hoffman's character. Working at IBM was similar and the same advice applied...keep your mouth shut...tight. Threatening words regarding the dreaded layoff were swung over heads. Numbers people...let's make those numbers! Quality? WTF is that? Smells like butt to me! Management was (probably remains) A.D.D zombies. It's hard to get quality work when each level of management has its collective nose firmly planted...well, you get the gist I'm sure. I never intened a rant on IBM until a friend and co-worker (Michael Poplees) was fired for publicly speaking to the press regarding the treatment of workers. Whatever happened to our basic freedoms? Somewhere along the way corporate America has forgotten on whose backs their businesses are carried. Shame...

I have this friend. Let's call him Dave. He thinks he knows all about computers and things electronic. In fact, he is employed as a electrical maintenance supervisor. He's been bugging the crap out of me to fix his printer. OK. So I take a look at it tonight and discover he tried to refill the ink cartridges. Normally this is not a too tough job...but I am talking about Dave here. So I remove the ink cartridges to see exactly why it won't print and find a complete mess inside. Refilling ink cartridges is not rocket science. If one can read and has an opposable thumb it shouldn't be too difficult (I'll have to count Dave's fingers the next time I see him). All this brings me to the question...why do people attempt projects beyond their scope? One would think that after screwing around with something for a few hours (as Dave did) and drawing a blank one would realize their limitations and seek out help. If not professional then at least someone fairly knowledgeable in the art of zen cartridge swapping. Pondering this, I came to realize
not why people behave like this but rather my own foible in dealing with my transgenderism. Why didn't I seek counciling earlier in my life. I'm not a psychologist or a therapist, so why didn't I? I suppose, like Dave, I suffer from the "I can do it myself" syndrome. I'll bet if Wal-Mart had a home "do it yourself gender reassignment kit" I'd have given it a shot. At any rate...don't attempt to change ink cartridges without at least two thumbs and don't self diagnose.

Why did I name my blog Transcendental Carwash? Makes no sense does it? Just like my life. Trust me. If you already know me...you know it's true. I'm still trying to understand why certain things have happened to me in my life (as I'm sure others are). I gave up blaming god and I'm quite sure the devil has better things to do than hide my car keys or smoke my cigarettes. What made me who and what I am? Am I simply the product of a random roll of the dice or did my parents eat something they shouldn't have? I do know when I first realized I was different. I was five. My younger sister and I were playing in the snow. It was like a blinding flash of light. Can you imagine having an epiphany at five? Earth shaking. Almost knocked me off my feet. I stood there for a while wondering why I had been born in the wrong body. Then I buried my sister in the snow and went back inside.
